Today we left early as Jamie had wanted to have breakfast in the bush and a longer morning safari – The Austrians were having a balloon ride. We initially saw some hyenas – a pack of 4 and watched as they walked along side us for a while.

On our way to breakfast we passed by a pond full of hippos. The stench was overpowering – so gross.
We also found a couple of giraffes – Masai ones which are different from the Rothschild Giraffes at Lake Nakuru. Then Zebra’s and Ostriches and Wildebeest.

It was so fun having breakfast with the Zebra’s although they were a little wary of us.

After lunch Ric had a quick swim. There were very few people using the pool.
In the evening we had another game drive. The highlight was a herd of ten elephants.
