Today again we started off with devotions in chapel. Then I was due to go to the pediatric ward round. This is our flatmate Thu Ha
The ward round was so interesting. Lots of babies some of whom were quite sick with meningitis and I think a few of the babies also had bronchiolitis. There were a few interesting cases such as swollen joints in kids
In the afternoon I was able to work on my presentation for tomorrow (Asthma) and was also asked to consult on a dermatological case.
A lot of the staff are clinical officers – training to be physician assistants with only a few MD’s.
Ric wandered around with Eric and planned the pipe run for the electrical project. After supper we played Farkle and banagrams with Thu Ha .
Great news today. We were approved to visit our sponsor child in Kenya so are excited for that.
